A staffing firm is seeking a qualified Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to fill an open position with a financial services client. This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role to design, build, and mature enterprise IAM capabilities across authentication, authorization, privileged access management, and automation. You will work in a complex environment where technical depth and the ability to solve integration challenges will directly influence the organization’s security posture. Key Responsibilities
• Engineer and support enterprise PAM (Privileged Access Management) capabilities across multiple platforms.
• Own troubleshooting and resolution of complex IAM integrations and automation challenges.
• Build and enhance PAM ecosystems beyond basic account provisioning.
• Partner with application and infrastructure teams to design scalable, secure IAM solutions.
• Automate IAM processes using scripting (PowerShell preferred) and support RBAC governance initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of IAM engineering experience with strong technical depth.
• Experience with PAM/PIM concepts and tools, including enterprise PAM server suites.
• Background in user provisioning, password vaulting, sudo management, and automation.
• 2+ years of experience in information security or cross-functional technology environments.
• Strong scripting skills; PowerShell expertise is strongly preferred (critical for senior-level candidates).
