Lead data governance and cybersecurity for Aviva Canada as an Assistant Vice President. This hybrid role emphasizes risk management, compliance, and strategic oversight in emerging technologies.
As AVP, Cyber & Data Risk, you will provide second-line oversight over data privacy and governance while cultivating relationships across the business. Your expertise will guide decision-making, strengthen controls, and advance practices in GenAI and automation. Ensuring a safe and fair environment for customers is paramount as you report on emerging risks and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee cybersecurity, data privacy, and governance practices
• Partner with teams to identify and manage risks
• Conduct thorough data risk reviews and assessments
• Prepare insightful reports to highlight trends and issues
• Build relationships to ensure effective risk management
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Over 10 years in data governance or analytics
• Strong knowledge of Cyber Security principles
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with data architecture and emerging practices
