Job Summary IT Veterans is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our growing cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and hands‑on experience monitoring and defending enterprise systems in a fast‑paced environment. You must have a TS/SCI clearance. Key Responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents in real time. Utilize tools such as Splunk and Trellix to detect and investigate suspicious activity. Correlate security events across multiple platforms to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities. Escalate and coordinate incident response activities as needed. Support the ongoing improvement of Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and procedures. Required Skills & Experience Prior experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. Proficiency with Splunk (SIEM) and Trellix (formerly McAfee) security solutions. Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and security monitoring best practices. Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills. TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Qualifications Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, CND, or Splunk Certified User/Power User. Familiarity with DoD or government cybersecurity environments.
