We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director, Named Accounts – Healthcare to join and lead our rapidly expanding team dedicated to a select list of enterprise accounts. In this pivotal role, you will mentor and guide Healthcare Named Accounts Managers, identifying and nurturing top talent that delivers significant value to the company. You will engage directly with the field sales organization, playing a crucial role in customer-facing initiatives and actively participating in closing key accounts. Establishing and maintaining relationships with select customers while strategizing to expand our customer base will be core responsibilities in this crucial position.
Your Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive strategies and tactics to maximize Proofpoint sales within each assigned account.
• Lead and devise strategies for discovering and cultivating new sales opportunities.
• Oversee the team in accurately forecasting sales opportunities and achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Ensure high levels of satisfaction among all respective customers/accounts.
Your Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience successfully leading high-performing field sales teams across large geographies.
• Proven experience in selling Security or Enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Solid understanding of current technologies and trends in the security industry.
• A robust network within the security industry, including contacts in the prospective customer and influencer communities.
• Outstanding consultative selling skills with the ability to articulate the company’s value proposition effectively.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to create a business plan, build a strong pipeline, and accurately forecast and close business deals.
• Experience driving and taking part in outbound calling initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing to build effective demand generation plans.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for delivering compelling sales presentations and effectively engaging with customers at all levels.
