Security Engineer
A venture-backed platform company at the intersection of offensive security and enterprise resilience is expanding its engineering team. The platform is deployed across regulated industries and government environments, and this hire will contribute directly to its core technical capabilities.
What you will do:
• Write production-grade security tooling in Python and Go — both attack-oriented and defensive — that ships as part of the platform
• Own the automation layer that converts security findings into structured, actionable workflows at scale
• Spin up and manage lab environments using Terraform and virtualization for ongoing adversarial simulation and QA
• Build and maintain integrations between the platform and the broader security tooling ecosystem
• Sit at the intersection of product and customer — you will talk to operators using the platform in the field and make sure what you build actually solves their problems
• Make security legible to people who aren’t security engineers — internally and with customer
What you will bring:
• Real infosec experience — you have worked inside a security team and understand how practitioners actually operate
• Strong development skills with a security lens — Python and Go experience preferred
• Comfort with the full spectrum of security tooling — networking, pen testing, vuln management
• The ability to ship code that non-engineers will depend on in high-stakes environments
