We are an expanding provider of investment management, research & trading services in the financial services industry.

About the Role

Join us as the Managing Director of Security Architecture to lead the charge in establishing and scaling a secure-by-design operating model. As a senior cybersecurity leader, you will play a pivotal role in embedding cybersecurity requirements into technology design, engineering, and delivery processes across our enterprise.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Defining and maintaining security standards, baselines, and reference architectures to achieve consistent and resilient security outcomes across diverse environments such as cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, data, and applications.
• Driving the adoption of threat modeling and leading security architecture and design reviews.
• Partnering with technology teams to ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into the technology ecosystem.

We are looking for candidates with:
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in large-scale cybersecurity architecture, engineering, security operations, or technology transformation, ideally with at least 5 years in a cybersecurity leadership role.
• Deep expertise in security architecture, secure design, threat modeling, and modern engineering practices.
• A strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS platforms, APIs, and emerging AI/LLM technologies.
• Experience in establishing security baselines and patterns at scale.
• A proven track record in building and scaling secure-by-design programs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executives and the Board of Directors.

The role requires less than 10% travel and will report to the Deputy CISO, SVP.
