Drive IT support excellence and cybersecurity initiatives as the Lead at Northwood in Halifax. Your expertise will enhance technical service delivery and team performance. In this pivotal role, you will provide coordination and leadership for Northwood’s IT Support team, acting as the primary escalation point for complex problems.
Your responsibilities include monitoring service desk performance, guiding cybersecurity practices, and supporting operational compliance. You will work closely with the Director of IT to ensure technology services align with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities:
• Direct daily operations and technical leadership of IT Support team
• Manage escalated Tier 2 technical issues effectively
• Collaborate with vendors on cybersecurity initiatives
• Support onboarding and mentoring of IT staff
• Contribute to documentation and process standardization Requirements:
• Minimum five years of IT support experience
• Degree or diploma in Information Technology or similar
• CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent certification
• Strong communication skills and leadership experience
