Job Title: IT Security AnalystJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Analyst with CISO experience to join our dynamic team. As an IT Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization’s information systems and infrastructure against cyber threats. Your primary goal will be to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data by identifying and mitigating potential security risks.Key Responsibilities:CISO experience required,Security Monitoring & Incident ResponseSecurity Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor and analyse security events from various sources such as firewalls, IDS/IPS systems.Identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures to avoid future incidents.Vulnerability Management:Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on internal and external systems to identify security weaknesses.Work with internal teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities in accordance with business needs and security best practices.Policy & Compliance:Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.Ensure that security controls and procedures are in place to meet industry standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).Perform regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with security policies.Security Tool Management:Manage and configure security tools, such as firewalls, antivirus, encryption software, and any other IT security related solutions.Keep abreast of the latest security tools and technologies and recommend improvements to the existing security infrastructure.Threat Intelligence & Awareness:Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees to foster a security-conscious culture.Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with IT teams and departments to ensure the security of networks, applications, and endpoints.Provide detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerability assessments, and remediation efforts to management.Preferred Qualifications:Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar.Experience with cloud security. CISO expereinceBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience in IT security, including hands-on experience with network security, endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response.Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).Familiarity with security technologies, such as firewalls, DLP, encryption, and antivirus solutions.Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and web application security.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
