Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Security Architect to assess and provide expert recommendations for Access Management and Data Privacy programmes, ensuring successful delivery of critical security engagements. The ideal candidate will possess more than 15 years’ hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Data Privacy, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise-level security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead assessments of existing access management and data privacy frameworks, identifying gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
• Develop and deliver actionable recommendations to strengthen IAM and data privacy programmes, tailored to organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Design secure architectures for identity governance, authentication, authorisation, and privileged access management.
• Advise on compliance with international data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), ensuring robust privacy controls are embedded within security strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with business priorities and risk appetite.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in access management and data privacy across the organisation.
• Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote security awareness and excellence.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation for stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and threats in IAM and data privacy, providing strategic guidance accordingly. Internal – General Use
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years’ professional experience in IAM and Data Privacy, with significant exposure to enterprise security architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of identity lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and federated identity solutions.
• Deep understanding of data privacy principles, frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven experience with IAM platforms (such as Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, or similar) and privacy management tools.
• Professional certifications highly desirable (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIPT, CIPP/E).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive organisational change. Personal Attributes
