Job Summary

Provide expert cybersecurity services across the Asia Pacific region (excluding China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan). Deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions, manage IT initiatives, and collaborate with teams and vendors to secure IT systems and networks while supporting customer IT staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments using document and interview methods to identify risks and compliance gaps

• Perform network and infrastructure vulnerability checks using automated tools and manual techniques to detect security weaknesses

• Execute penetration testing to evaluate system defenses and recommend remediation actions

• Utilize cybersecurity tools such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing software to enhance security posture

• Adapt cybersecurity task execution flexibly to align with customer policies and standards

• Analyze complex cybersecurity incidents and communicate findings clearly through advanced documentation, including diagrams and charts

• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with administrators, technical teams, functional members, and users to facilitate security initiatives

• Provide managerial and technical advice to leverage cybersecurity knowledge and technology for business value and goal achievement

• Manage IT security initiatives, coordinating with technical staff and third-party vendors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery

• Design secure IT systems and networks, offering technical assistance to resolve cybersecurity issues

• Work independently and collaboratively within teams to complete projects successfully, monitoring risks and escalating issues proactively

• Deliver technical advice, training, and support to customer IT staff as designated by management

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven working experience as a cybersecurity specialist

• Capability to manage project tasks effectively

• Strong knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity activities including cybersecurity assessments, network/infrastructure vulnerability checks, and penetration testing

• Proficiency with cybersecurity tools such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing tools

• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly express complex cybersecurity concepts and incidents

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge and expertise in IT audit and IT internal control related to cybersecurity

• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Endpoint Management, Behavioral Analytics, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

• Understanding of cybersecurity standards and guidelines including NIST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISMS, and HIPAA

• Security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or ISO 27001

• Demonstrated potential and relevant experience to advance into managerial roles within security or related areas
