Data Scientist / Analytics Engineer – Risk & Vulnerability Analytics

Contract: 1-Year

Location: Montreal, QC (Remote Role)

Role Overvie

wDesign and build scalable data models, analytics frameworks, and reporting solutions to transform large, complex vulnerability datasets into actionable insights. The role focuses on enabling visibility into risk exposure, remediation progress, and trend analysi s through structured data and clear reporting

Key Responsibilitie

s Data Modeling & Integratio
• nBuild and maintain scalable relational data model s integrating vulnerability, asset, and system dat
• aStandardize and normalize data from multiple sources into a consistent, queryable forma
• tSupport efficient data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analytic

s Metrics & Analytics Framewor
• kDefine and implement key KPI s including
• :Vulnerability exposure (open, critical, aged
• )SLA adherence and backlog trackin
• gMean Time to Patch (MTTP
• )Develop frameworks to identify risk drivers, recurring issues, and systemic pattern

s Reporting & Visualizatio
• nDeliver automated weekly report s (trendlines, SLA tracking, backlog movement
• )Create monthly risk posture snapshot s highlighting improvements or regression
• sBuild dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for operational and executive insight

s Trend Analysis & Insight
• sPerform root cause and trend analysis across vulnerabilities, CVEs, and asset type
• sIdentify control gaps and emerging risk pattern
• sTranslate findings into clear insights answering
