The NSI CTC TEACH Cybersecurity + AI Clinic is seeking a part-time Deputy Director to help lead a growing experiential learning program focused on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence governance, and technology risk. The Clinic brings together graduate students from law and business programs to provide cybersecurity and AI-related services to nonprofit organizations, schools, healthcare providers, small businesses, and community partners.

Working closely with NSI leadership, the Deputy Director will support program operations, client engagement, student development, and strategic initiatives.

This flexible, part-time hourly position is based in Arlington, Virginia, with a mix of in-person and remote work. The role is ideal for an attorney, cybersecurity professional, or technology policy practitioner.

Responsibilities
• Serve as a key member of the Clinic’s leadership team and support day-to-day management of Clinic activities
• Help identify, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients, community partners, and external stakeholders
• Support supervision of student teams working on cybersecurity, AI governance, technology policy, and risk management projects
• Assist with development of educational content, simulations, and other experiential learning activities
• Coordinate project timelines, client communications, and program deliverables
• Support student recruitment, onboarding, and engagement efforts
• Assist with fundraising, grant administration, reporting, and strategic initiatives that support the Clinic’s long-term success

Preferred Qualifications
• Professional experience in cybersecurity, AI, privacy, or related fields
• Strong project management and client relationship skills
• Experience working with students, educational programs, nonprofits, government agencies, or community organizations

Position Details
• Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Expected commitment is approximately 20–30 hours per week, though hours may vary based on Clinic needs and candidate availability
• Opportunities to teach Clinic-related courses may be available for qualified candidates
• This position may provide opportunities for expanded leadership responsibilities, including potential future Director-level opportunities
