Job Summary:

The Cyber Security Network Engineer will design, document, and secure network infrastructure for our client. This role focuses on firewall rule management, VPN configuration, network device auditing, Web Application Firewall management, and the use of industry-standard security and network tools.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience documenting network security architecture and design

• 5+ years of experience managing and configuring Firewall Rules

• 5+ years of experience managing VPNs

• 5+ years of experience auditing network device configurations

• 3+ years of experience in Web Application Firewall Management

• 5+ years with Tools: Ansible, WireShark, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Cisco (CCNA)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point)

• Knowledge of zero trust network architecture (ZTNA) principles

• Familiarity with network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies

• Certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, or CISSP
