Hiring: Senior Data Acquisition Engineer – Cybersecurity Data Engineering

Location: (Location) | Experience: 8–12 Years

A leading Big 4 consulting firm is looking for a Senior Data Acquisition Engineer to build and optimize large-scale data ingestion and analytics platforms supporting cybersecurity use cases.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable data ingestion pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Integrate data from enterprise and external sources into cloud-based data platforms.
• Build and maintain real-time and batch data processing solutions.
• Automate deployments using DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enable security analytics, threat detection, and reporting.

Required Skills
• 8–12 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL , and scripting (PowerShell/Bash).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Event Hubs, AKS , and related Azure services.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, Git, Linux , and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, data warehousing, data modeling, and large-scale ETL pipelines .
• Exposure to SIEM/SOAR, cybersecurity data, or security analytics is highly preferred.

Preferred
• Azure, Data Engineering, or Cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience in consulting, financial services, or other regulated industries.
