The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Cyber Protect Program Manager, GG-2210-13 at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C.

Salary Range: $121,785– $158,322 based on experience

relocation incentive may be available

up to 20% telework possible

Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for; you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V3007.

Qualifications/Requirements

The primary purpose of this position: Serves as a Cyber Protect Action Officer. This position is responsible for contributing to the development, implementation, and operation of the Air Force’s Cyber Protect capabilities.

U.S. Citizenships Required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance.

Drug Testing: This is a designated Drug Testing Position.

Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance certification within 6 months of assigned duties.

Knowledge of a wide range of cyberspace theories, concepts, principles and practices, procedures, policies, standards, operations requirements and the ability to relate to user requirements.

Knowledge of Federal, DoD and USAF laws, regulations, policies and guidance concerning cybersecurity, DCO and USAF program oversight.

Knowledge of operational and performance characteristics of cyberspace to develop procedures/policies/practices for USAF wide use.

Knowledge of performance characteristics of cyberspace equipment, systems, services, and transmission media to evaluate new devices, proposals, and approaches.

Ability to research patterns to develop new methods, criteria or proposed new cyberspace policies and procedures.

Ability to analyze, plan and adjust work operations to meet program requirements and objective within available resources.

Ability to access or locate information through the use of a personal computer, as well as, develop and utilize appropriate data collection techniques via various software programs.
