Experteer Overview
In this role, you will lead security risk management for Salesforce’s product security program, partnering with product and engineering to secure SaaS and on-premise offerings. You drive risk reduction, own security initiatives, and communicate complex security concepts to executives. You’ll balance security posture with business needs while shaping secure product delivery. This role offers the opportunity to influence security strategy across multiple business units and sustain customer trust through rigorous risk management.

Compensation / Benefits

• Prioritize, optimize, and track security backlog execution for product engineering in a single work stream.
• Drive security initiatives and improve risk posture through collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Tasks
• 10-15 years of information security experience with at least 5-10 years in a leadership role across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and third-party integrations
• Deep understanding of security across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure, application security (SAST, DAST, secure coding), and third-party risk management
• Familiarity with security tools: SIEM (Splunk), vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Nessus), IAM (Okta, SailPoint)
• Ability to work independently, own security initiatives, and drive results with minimal supervision
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate security concepts to a business/risk audience
• Customer-focused mindset with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (SOX, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, CIS Controls)
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs
• Excellent communication skills to translate security concepts into business language
• Related technical degree required
• Preferred: deep understanding of securing AI solutions, BISO experience, strong relationship-building across locations, change management mindset
• Certifications like CISM or CISSP highly desired
