Experteer Overview
As the first BISO for Financial Services, you embed security expertise within FS to translate central security strategy into practical actions. You will sit on the FS Product and Technology Leadership team and collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders. Your work bridges security, regulation, and business needs in a complex financial services landscape. This is a mission-driven, collaborative role that shapes how security enables business outcomes at scale.
Compensation / Benefits
• Be the trusted security voice for FS Technology and Business leadership
• Translate central security policies into practical guidance for FS
• Support FS security incident response and advise on security implications of new products and tech decisions
• Champion security culture within FS and align security with business priorities in roadmapping
• Ensure central security services understand FS context and regulatory needs
• Develop deep understanding of FS regulatory obligations and partner with Compliance and Legal
• Lead FS risk assessments and contribute to the FS security risk register
• Embed security by design in early product/tech initiatives and review architectural decisions
• Coordinate with central Product Security on application security for FS systems
• Build relationships with FS engineering, product, and business leaders and influence through collaboration
Tasks
• 8+ years in information security, risk management, or related technical roles
• Experience in or with regulated financial services is a plus but not required
• Proven ability to influence across organisational boundaries without authority
• Track record translating technical security concepts for business audiences
• Experience with security risk assessment and risk management frameworks
