Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and support of network and security solutions across enterprise environments:
• Design and implement secure network solutions aligned with modern security practices, including Zero Trust concepts where applicable
• Configure and support firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access solutions
• Implement and maintain network security controls such as segmentation, ACLs, IDS/IPS, and threat prevention
• Support and troubleshoot L2/L3 network infrastructure including switches, routers, VLANs, and trunking
• Configure and maintain routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
• Assist with deployment, upgrades, and migration of network and security technologies
• Troubleshoot issues across network and security layers (L3–L7)
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security Operations, and Infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and deliver solutions
• Monitor network performance and contribute to optimization and capacity planning
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation
• Ensure adherence to internal security policies and industry standards

Essential Qualifications
• 3–6 years of experience in network engineering and/or network security roles
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Panorama, GlobalProtect)
• Strong hands-on experience with routing and switching (L2/L3 fundamentals)
• Experience with firewalls and network security technologies (Palo Alto preferred)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, VPNs, and routing protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot across both network and security domains
• Experience with packet capture and analysis tools
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Bonus Qualifications
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Panorama, GlobalProtect)
• Exposure to Zero Trust, SASE, or cloud networking/security
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or PCNSE
• Experience with monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, or basic automation/scripting
