Position: Cybersecurity Specialist Position Available
Join Viral Nation as a Cybersecurity Specialist focused on security incident detection and vulnerability remediation. Engage with SIEM tools while fostering compliance in a collaborative environment.
Reporting to the Director of IT & Security, you will support security efforts, deploying SIEM applications, and enhancing the company’s security framework. Candidates must have 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in SaaS and remote work settings, as you develop processes to protect against threats and drive SOC2 Type II compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage the Security Information and Event Management application

• Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities in business systems

• Implement security processes and procedures

• Aid in SOC2 Type II compliance efforts

• Manage security incidents alongside IT team
Requirements:

• 3-5 years of security and compliance experience

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Workspace

• SIEM application experience is essential

• Familiarity with EDR tools preferred

• Proficiency in automation scripting
