Gastronomous Technologies is seeking a skilled Network and Cybersecurity contractor to enhance our security posture. This hands-on, on-site role encompasses both infrastructure and embedded systems work.
With over 7 years of relevant experience, you will assess, harden, and document our security frameworks. This includes reviewing network architecture, firewall policies, and conducting penetration tests across our systems. Your expertise will be pivotal as we aim for SOC 2 certification, ensuring security excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit and document network architecture and segmentation
• Tighten firewall rules and eliminate unnecessary exposure
• Configure VPN access for remote team members
• Conduct penetration tests and report vulnerabilities
• Manage patch cadence and strengthen server configurations
Requirements:
• Minimum 7+ years of Canadian industry experience
• Strong hands-on networking and firewall configuration skills
• Proven background in penetration testing
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and NIST frameworks
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
Lead our network security initiatives and contribute directly to our SOC 2 readiness at Gastronomous Technologies.
