As a SIEM Google Secops-Associate 2, you will be at the forefront of cybersecurity, focusing on threat intelligence and vulnerability management. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will contribute to client engagements by leveraging your skills in Google SOAR technologies, Python scripting, and automation. Your role will involve developing playbooks, integrating apps, and enhancing security processes to address complex business issues.
As an Associate, you will engage in a fast-paced environment, supporting senior staff and participating in project tasks. You are expected to build your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge and understanding the broader objectives of your projects. This role emphasizes adaptability, reliability, and teamwork, allowing you to grow your skills and contribute to meaningful client connections.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will validate compliance matters, develop internal relationships, and enhance your PwC brand. You will be involved in assessing, designing, and improving workflows with a focus on automation through Google SOAR tools. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in cybersecurity and contribute to impactful solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
• Assisting in the development and implementation of Google SOAR playbooks to automate security operations
• Collaborating with team members to integrate new logging sources and enhance incident response capabilities
• Utilizing Python scripting to develop low code automations and streamline security processes
• Contributing to the design and improvement of workflows with a focus on automation through Google SOAR tools
• Developing dashboards and widgets to provide insights into security operations and threat intelligence
• Engaging in threat intelligence and vulnerability management to support cybersecurity initiatives
• Participating in the integration of apps and systems with Google using available or custom integrations
• Supporting the team in preparing deliverables and maintaining compliance with security standards
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments in cybersecurity and threat intelligence
• Building internal relationships and enhancing your personal brand within the organization
What You Must Have
• At least a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 1 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
• At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to threat intelligence and vulnerability management, including GCTI, CISSP, or equivalent threat and risk management credentials
• Developing playbooks using low code or no code automation
• Integrating apps/systems with Google using custom integrations
• Utilizing Python for automation and scripting tasks
• Understanding security architecture and tool integration
• Exploring Generative AI models for enhanced detection logic
• Possessing knowledge of Google SecOps and cloud environments
