In this critical position, you will report to the Cybersecurity Manager while collaborating closely with both the Incident Response Lead and the Detection Engineering Lead. Your core responsibility will involve engineering tasks, developing automation pipelines, and improving SOC efficiency. Expertise in DevOps and cybersecurity is essential as you help integrate and automate essential SOC tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute security engineering tasks assigned by the Security Engineering Lead
• Collaborate on detection-as-code and alert tuning
• Design security automation pipelines for SOC platforms
• Support Incident Response Manager during active incidents
• Maintain SOAR playbooks and automated response workflows
Requirements:
• 3–6+ years in a SOC environment
• Proficiency in software engineering languages, especially Python
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with tools like GitHub Actions
• Security domain expertise in SIEM or SOAR development
• Familiar with log engineering concepts like Kafka
