Role Overview :
As a Cyber Audit Senior Consultant / Manager at Protiviti, you will be responsible for leading and executing IT audit, cybersecurity, and IT compliance engagements for our diverse client base. You will work closely with clients to assess their IT environments, identify risks and vulnerabilities, and develop recommendations to improve their security posture and compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality audit and consulting services that help our clients achieve their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
– Lead and execute IT audit, cybersecurity, and IT compliance engagements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
– Assess clients’ IT environments, identify risks and vulnerabilities, and develop recommendations to improve their security posture.
– Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls related to cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance for clients.
– Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on IT risk and security matters.
– Prepare clear and concise audit reports and presentations, communicating findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
– Stay up-to-date on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and regulations, and share knowledge with the team.
– Contribute to the development of new service offerings and methodologies in the areas of IT audit, cybersecurity, and IT compliance.
– Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
Required Skillset :
– Demonstrated ability to perform IT audits, security risk assessments, and IT compliance reviews across various platforms and technologies.
– Proven ability to assess and evaluate IT controls related to cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS).
– Strong understanding of security risk management principles and methodologies.
– Experience with cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
– Adaptability to work in a hybrid work environment, collaborating with teams remotely and on-site as needed.
