We Are Hiring: Data Security Analyst
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Security Analyst to help protect our blockchain ecosystem, internal infrastructure, and sensitive organizational data.
This role goes beyond monitoring alerts. We need someone who thinks proactively, identifies risks before they become problems, and helps build a security-first culture across the organization.
Your Mission
You will be responsible for safeguarding Peace Through Trade’s digital infrastructure by monitoring security systems, assessing vulnerabilities, implementing best practices, and responding to potential threats. Your work will help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data as we continue to scale globally.
What You’ll Do
– Monitor networks, systems, and cloud infrastructure for security threats and suspicious activity
– Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies
– Investigate and respond to security incidents
– Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and access controls
– Perform risk assessments across applications, infrastructure, and internal systems
– Monitor endpoint protection, firewalls, identity management, and authentication systems
– Support compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
– Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve security across the SDLC
– Help secure blockchain infrastructure, wallets, APIs, and cloud environments
– Create security documentation, reports, and incident response plans
– Educate internal teams on cybersecurity best practices
– Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and industry trends
What You Bring
– 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security operations
– Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection
– Experience with SIEM platforms, threat detection, and security monitoring tools
– Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), MFA, and Zero Trust principles
– Familiarity with vulnerability management and penetration testing concepts
– Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent documentation and communication abilities
– Ability to remain calm and effective during security incidents
– Experience in blockchain, Web3, fintech, or highly regulated environments is a strong advantage
– Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or similar) are a plus
