Overview

VTG is seeking a Cyber Penetration Tester with experience performing penetration testing, network security analysis, and security architecture assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identifying vulnerabilities, evaluating enterprise systems, and developing risk mitigation strategies across Windows, Linux, and virtual environments.

What will you do?

• Perform cyber penetration testing to identify security vulnerabilities across enterprise environments.
• Apply computer attack methods and system exploitation techniques to evaluate system security.
• Assess and implement IT security architecture to improve overall security posture.
• Conduct network security analysis and evaluate network architectures for potential risks.
• Utilize network management tools to monitor, assess, and analyze network environments.
• Leverage adversarial tactics to perform hands-on security testing and validate defensive controls.
• Develop risk management methodologies and recommend security improvements.
• Analyze penetration testing results and develop risk and threat mitigation plans.
• Test and review system configurations, development, and design with a focus on enterprise systems and hypervisors.
• Design, test, and implement complex Windows-based environments.
• Work with Linux, Windows, and virtual platforms while applying cybersecurity best practices.

Do you have what it takes?

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Demonstrated work experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.
• Demonstrated experience with cyber penetration testing.
• Demonstrated experience applying computer attack methods and system exploitation techniques.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of cybersecurity principles for Linux, Windows, and virtual platforms.
• Demonstrated experience designing, testing, or implementing IT security architecture.
• Demonstrated experience performing network security analysis.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing network architectures.
• Demonstrated experience using network management tools.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging adversarial tactics to conduct hands-on security testing.
• Demonstrated experience developing risk management methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing test results to develop risk and threat mitigation plans.
• Demonstrated experience testing or reviewing system configuration, development, and design for enterprise systems and hypervisors.
• Demonstrated experience designing, testing, or implementing complex Windows installations.
