Join Our Global Security Operations Team!
At Securitas, we are dedicated to creating a safer world for everyone. Join our team as a Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator and play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security across our global network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate alarms, responding promptly by coordinating security patrols, or contacting emergency services when necessary.
• Provide assistance to company employees regarding safety and security concerns.
• Monitor and ensure the safety and security of employees traveling for business.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of multiple systems to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Disseminate alerts and advisories to ensure effective corporate response in emergencies.
• Compile detailed daily reports and incident summaries.
• Follow established procedures to manage incidents, from minor to major crises.
• Offer back-up support and respond on-call as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Undertake other related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Gather and prepare performance metrics reports for individual and team assessments.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Licensure may be required based on local laws.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug/alcohol test is a condition of employment.
• Associate’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in Military, Law Enforcement, Government, or Corporate Security.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.
• Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Flexible availability for various shifts and overtime support when necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a security operations center is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Information Technology, International Relations, Emergency Management, Political Science, or Criminal Justice.
• Familiarity with security systems, including alarm monitoring, access control, and CCTV.
• Supervisory experience in a security setting is a plus.
