Job Description

The Identity Engineers manage user issues for 110,000+ workforce accounts and over 8 million citizen accounts. They support agencies with mission-critical systems and user management while designing and developing identity solutions for joiner, mover, and leaver scenarios using both custom applications and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions. The team also collaborates with OISP on enterprise security initiatives.

This role is responsible for managing an average workload of 100+ identity-related support tickets per month, including:
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• User ID management and support
• Bulk user ID requests, updates, and reporting
• Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and support
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) support and optimization
• Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to improve support processes

The ideal candidate will have an IT background in software administration, development, or systems support, with a strong interest in Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies and continuous process improvement.

Required Skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software administration, software development, and/or systems support.
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling user support issues and troubleshooting tickets.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer support skills.

Highly Desired Skills
• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
• Experience or willingness to learn scripting and automation.
• Exposure to PAM, SSO, MFA, or user lifecycle management.
• Experience working in enterprise IT support environments.
