Description
Join Leidos’ Dynamic Health IT division as a Senior Microsoft Identity Solutions Engineer, where you will lead the way in creating advanced identity management solutions for significant government digital transformation initiatives. We seek a candidate with extensive expertise in Microsoft identity technologies and a strong track record of executing enterprise-level identity solutions successfully.
Candidate MUST:
Be a US Citizen or US Person who has resided in the United States for at least three continuous years, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust level 4 clearance.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee Microsoft Entra ID solutions, including multi-tenant and cross-tenant synchronization for complex organizations.
• Design and implement strategies for migrating identity and access management platforms (e.g., transitioning from on-premises Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID Native authentication).
• Create advanced identity management solutions using Entra ID to enhance cost-efficiency and user experience.
• Provide technical guidance on identity components during large-scale Azure cloud migrations.
• Develop custom identity management tools and streamline identity lifecycle processes through automation.
• Ensure that identity solutions meet security, compliance, and business criteria.
• Remain updated on the latest Microsoft identity technologies and industry leading practices.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with eight years of experience, or a Master’s degree with six years of general IT experience, preferably in system engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in identity and access management.
• Expertise in PIM and Azure AD Conditional Access policies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft identity solutions (Entra ID, AD FS, Microsoft 365, MIM).
• Proven experience with large-scale, multi-forest Active Directory and Entra ID architectures.
• Advanced understanding of identity protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, WS-Federation, CBA).
• Strong experience with Azure AD B2B and B2C for managing external identities.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Graph API for automating identity management.
• Experience with Azure AD Connect, including custom synchronization rules.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and best practices in identity security.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
• Experience in government or highly regulated sectors.
• Knowledge of identity compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
• Experience with Azure AD Verifiable Credentials and decentralized identity principles.
• Understanding of biometric authentication methods and their integration with Azure AD.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 – $195,050.00
