Software Resources has an immediate, contract job opportunity for a Technical Writer Identity & Access Management (IAM) with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. On-site Monday – Thursday, Remote on Fridays.
Job Description: About the Role
As a Technical Writer in Enterprise Technology IAM group, you will play a key role in supporting the IAM Transformation journey. This transformation focuses on enhancing the end-user experience, consolidating technology stacks, and improving information security through proper lifecycle management for all employees.
You will collaborate with Service Management, Organizational Change Management, Engineering, and Identity Operations teams to document functional and process changes, ensuring that IAM products and platforms are simple, seamless, and secure for cast members, employees, and partners across business segments and corporate functions.
Responsibilities:
” Develop, edit, and maintain clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation for IAM products, platforms, and processes.
” Collaborate with IAM engineers, product owners, and operations teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for a wide audience, including leadership, end users, and application owners.
” Support IAM Transformation initiatives by documenting functional changes, operational processes, and adoption workflows.
” Partner with Organizational Change Management and Service Management teams to create training materials, FAQs, job aids, and user guides.
” Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement to ensure documentation aligns with current development efforts.
” Review and maintain IAM content repositories, ensuring version control, accuracy, and accessibility.
” Continuously gather feedback from stakeholders to improve the clarity, usability, and effectiveness of documentation.
What You Bring:
” Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, able to connect with both technical and non-technical audiences.
” Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
” Expertise in Agile methodologies and experience delivering documentation in sprint-based development environments.
” Collaborative mindset and ability to establish credibility and productive working relationships across a broad range of roles and levels.
” Attention to detail, process-oriented, and committed to follow-through on tasks.
” Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
” 7+ years of experience in technical writing within large-scale enterprises, preferably supporting IAM, enterprise platforms, or collaboration ecosystems.
” 3+ years of experience contributing to large, transformational IT initiatives.
” Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
” Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
” Familiarity with Identity and Access Management technologies and enterprise security principles.
” Experience creating documentation for Agile and iterative software development environments.
” Advanced knowledge of technical writing tools, content management platforms, and visual communication tools.
