Job Summary

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a senior executive responsible for developing and implementing an organization’s information security program. CISO’s role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities to protect an organization’s data, systems, and overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy and Leadership
• Develop and implement information security strategies aligned with business objectives
• Lead and scale security and IT teams
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic goals for enterprise security
• Risk Management
• Assess and mitigate risks to information assets
• Implement strategies to reduce liability and exposure to informational, physical, and financial risks
• Security Operations
• Oversee security measures to prevent cyberattacks
• Manage incident response and crisis management
• Develop and maintain security processes, policies, and procedures
• Compliance and Regulations
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and global privacy and security regulations
• Stay updated on relevant laws and industry standards
• Communication and Education
• Report on information security posture to senior management and the board
• Foster a culture of security awareness through training and communication
• Translate complex security concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications And Skills
• Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in information security, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with cloud computing technologies
• Understanding of relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS, GDPR)
Work Environment & Schedule
• Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday.
• Remote based, with travel depending on executive needs up to 80%.-
