Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Ethical Hacker to join our team. In this role, you will proactively identify vulnerabilities within our IT infrastructure, network architecture, and AWS cloud environments by simulating real-world cyberattacks both in backend and front end systems.

Your expertise will help strengthen our security posture, ensure compliance with industry standards and protect sensitive data from malicious threats. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across diverse systems including AWS cloud platform.

• Develop and execute simulated cyberattack scenarios using attack frameworks to evaluate system defenses and identify weaknesses.

• Analyze network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP and routing protocols to detect potential security flaws.

• Perform system security hardening.

• Assist in incident response efforts by analyzing logs through log analysis tools, investigating security incidents, and supporting incident recovery procedures.

• Conduct vulnerability research and manage vulnerability management programs to prioritize remediation efforts aligned with risk levels.

• Collaborate with IT teams on system administration tasks for operating systems such as AWS Linux, ensure system security plans are up-to-date.

Experience

• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on penetration testing or ethical hacking within complex IT environments.

• Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including network security protocols (SSL/TLS, SSH).

• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools (Fiddler, Nmap), threat detection & response platforms and SIEM solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud computing architectures such as AWS Platform

• Understanding of information security standards including NIST standards (SP 800 series), ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS compliance requirements; knowledge of RMF and DIACAP frameworks is advantageous.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation; experience with DevOps tools like Ansible or Terraform for infrastructure as code is desirable.

• Strong analytical skills in threat intelligence analysis, incident management processes, and system hardening techniques across diverse operating systems including Windows Server environments. Pay: $29.86 – $35.96 per hour
