Purpose: In this fast-paced role, you will lead a shift of over 14 Security Officers, ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients and employees. This includes managing access control, monitoring CCTV, responding to alarms, overseeing visitor management systems, and handling emergency situations efficiently. You will serve as the central communication hub for on-shift Security Officers, addressing their inquiries to effectively meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize the Genetec system to monitor, record, and respond to multiple alarms across different sites.
• Watch CCTV feeds to detect suspicious activities, track ongoing incidents, and report equipment malfunctions.
• Oversee visitor management using the Genetec system across all locations.
• Respond to emergencies by dispatching Security Officers and assisting clients and emergency responders.
• Relay vital information to on-shift officers, including updates on incidents.
• Inform the client of incidents and updates, knowing when to escalate communication methods.
• Contact emergency services as required for incidents needing police or fire support.
• Manage shift coverage by addressing callouts from Security Officers and making necessary scheduling adjustments.
• Make independent decisions during ongoing incidents to ensure prompt response.
• Regularly communicate with both Per Mar and the Client’s Security Management teams, adhering to their guidelines.
• Document all alarms and incidents in Daily Activity Reports (DAR) and Incident Reports (IR), and efficiently update the Daily Pass Down Log for smooth information transfer.

Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1 to 3+ years of experience in security operations, dispatch, law enforcement, or military roles is preferred. Significant customer service or corporate communication experience may be considered.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the capacity to handle emergencies.
• Ability to remain calm and provide clear instructions in high-pressure situations.
