Job Objective

To support the enhancement and modernization of a network and IT infrastructure. The role focuses on assisting with virtualization storage networking and cybersecurity operations while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of senior engineers to build expertise in enterprise infrastructure engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities

•
Assist in the setup configuration and monitoring of VMware vSphere and vSAN environments.

•
Support Active Directory and Windows Server administration including account management and group policies.

•
Contribute to infrastructure enhancement projects (virtualization storage backup and networking improvements).

•
Help maintain and secure data center systems with patching hardening and compliance checks.

•
Develop and maintain scripts (Python PowerShell or Bash) to automate IT operations.

•
Perform data analytics and reporting to track infrastructure performance and security metrics.

•
Participate in incident response and troubleshooting alongside senior engineers.

•
Document procedures configurations and project updates.

Qualifications :

Work Experience Requirements

•
1 to 2 years experience in designing installing and configuring IT and cybersecurity architectures (firewalls IDS Wireless Security Endpoint Protection SIEM VPN PKI IAM etc.).

•
Previous experience in cybersecurity technical evaluation (vulnerability assessment and remediation penetration testing etc.).

•
Strong scripting skills

•
Previous experience in international and/or regional standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO27 NIST ADSIC NESA Dubai ISR).

•
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.

•
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.

•
Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views and data sets.

•
Proven organizational ability and team player

•
Willingness to learn and to work with a diverse range of people at all levels

•
Pro-active self-starter

Qualification Certification & Educational Requirements

•
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity or Software Engineering

•
Foundational knowledge in:

•
Networking (Cisco TCP/IP routing switching wireless)

•
Cybersecurity principles (threats vulnerabilities authentication ethical hacking basics)

•
Programming & scripting (Python PowerShell or Bash)

•
Exposure to virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and directory services (Active Directory) through coursework labs or internships.

•
Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.

•
Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a project environment.

Additional Information :

Preferred Skills

•
Project experience in data center or infrastructure enhancement.

•
Familiarity with Linux administration and storage technologies.

•
Awareness of cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP).

•
Certifications (or progress toward):

CompTIA Security or Network

•
Cisco CCNA

•
VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA)

Microsoft Fundamentals (Azure/Active Directory)

Fluent in Arabic.
