One of our clients is looking for a Cyber Security Trainer.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cyber Security Instructor role based in Vishakhapatnam. The Cyber Security Instructor will design and deliver engaging training sessions on core topics such as application security, network security, information security, and malware analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and labs, teaching in classroom and lab environments, assessing learners’ progress through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback and mentoring. The instructor will also update course content to reflect emerging threats, tools, and best practices, and may participate in curriculum development, workshops, and certification preparation sessions. Collaboration with academic and administrative teams to improve training quality and learner outcomes is expected.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Cybersecurity Trainer to train and mentor students/professionals in cybersecurity concepts and tools. The candidate should have hands-on experience in cybersecurity domains and strong communication skills to deliver engaging training sessions.

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge and teaching ability in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including fundamental principles, threat landscapes, and security frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise in Network Security and Application Security, with experience explaining and demonstrating secure design, hardening, and defensive controls.
• Practical experience in Malware Analysis, including basic reverse engineering concepts, detection techniques, and incident response workflows.
• Proven ability to design clear instructional materials, labs, and assessments, and to explain complex technical concepts to learners with varied backgrounds.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, OSCP, or similar) and a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field are preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive teaching approach.
• Ability to stay current with emerging security technologies, tools, and threats, and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in cyber security or related technical domains is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver training sessions on cybersecurity concepts and practical tools

Prepare training materials, assignments, and assessments

Train candidates on topics like Network Security, Ethical Hacking, VAPT, SIEM, SOC, and Cloud Security

Conduct live demonstrations and hands-on labs

Monitor candidate performance and provide guidance/support

Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies

Assist students with interview preparation and real-world project guidance

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity fundamentals

Hands-on experience with tools like Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux, etc.

Understanding of Ethical Hacking, VAPT, SOC Operations, and Incident Response

Knowledge of Networking, Firewalls, and Security Protocols

Good presentation and communication skills

Ability to handle online/offline training sessions

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications like CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, PENTESTER, Cyber Forensics, Web Assessment, Mobile Assessment, VAPT, CCNA Security are preferred
