Key Duties and Responsibilities

As Director, Cyber Security, you are responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, governance, and operations across all data centre environments. This role ensures the protection of critical infrastructure, corporate assets and IT/OTsystems while maintaining compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements.

Cybersecurity Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives

• Establish a long-term security roadmap for IT, OT, and data centre environments

• Advise senior leadership on cyber risk posture and investment priorities

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

• Lead the cybersecurity governance framework, including policies, and standards

• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and relevant local regulations

• Oversee risk assessments, third-party risk management, and audit programs

Security Operations & Incident Response

• Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC), threat monitoring, and incident response activities

• Ensure effective detection, response, and recovery capabilities

• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and threat intelligence

IT/OT Security Integration

• Drive the secure convergence of IT and Operational Technology environments

• Implement security controls for industrial systems, DC infrastructure, and critical facilities

• Address risks specific to data centre operations (e.g., BMS, DCIM, ICS systems)

Architecture & Engineering

• Define secure architecture standards for infrastructure, cloud, and applications

• Ensure secure design and deployment of new systems and technologies

• Oversee vulnerability management and remediation programs

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

• Engage customers on security requirements, audits, and assurance activities

• Support sales and business teams with security-related queries and bids responses

• Build trust through transparency and a strong security posture

Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and develop cybersecurity teams across regions

• Build organisational capabilities in threat detection, engineering, and GRC

• Foster a strong security culture across the organization

Any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 15 years of cybersecurity experience, including senior leadership roles

• Strong background in critical infrastructure, data centres, cloud, and IT/OT environments

• Proven oversight of incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and SOC operations

• Deep understanding of security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, IEC 62443), cloud security, IAM, and network security

• Executive-level strategic planning and risk-based decision-making capability

• Experience engaging executives, customers, auditors, and regulators

• Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, or equivalent, preferred

• GIAC / ICS security certifications are an advantage
