Working remotely on a contract basis, the Security Operations Analyst will monitor security operations, conduct vulnerability assessments, and utilize Python for data collection and automation during night shifts from 10 PM to 8 AM. Key responsibilities Monitor and analyze security operations to identify and respond to threats Conduct vulnerability and exposure assessments to enhance security posture Utilize Python scripting for automation of data collection and analysis workflows Required qualifications 2-4 years of experience in security operations or related fields Proficiency in Python scripting, with familiarity in DataFrame and pandas modules Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools such as Shodan and VirusTotal Experience in a security operations center or similar 24/7 environment preferred Valuable certifications include CISSP or SANS certifications
