Security Operations Specialist

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving security processes, and working hands‑on with modern security tools. In this role, you’ll help keep the company’s systems, data, and people safe by supporting day‑to‑day security operations, reviewing vulnerabilities, assisting with tool deployments, and helping teams stay aligned with security standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of security experience who wants to grow their technical skills, learn new tools, and work closely with a collaborative security team.

What You’ll Do

Review and fix vulnerabilities across servers, networks, and end‑user devices

Apply patches and updates, including items like .NET, Java, and other application components

Support new security tools (examples: Zscaler, CTEM, PAM enhancements)

Help teams follow security policies and improve Microsoft security scores

Document repeatable processes for assessments, testing, and routine security tasks

Assist with audit requests and help maintain accurate security documentation

Support access control, including issuing badges and managing digital permissions

Review alerts and reports from security tools to spot unusual activity

Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery exercises

Provide hands‑on help during new technology rollouts

Stay current on security trends and contribute ideas to improve tools and processes

What You Bring

Around 3+ years of experience in security operations or a related technical role

Familiarity with tools like Qualys, Intune, and common security frameworks (e.g., NIST)

Understanding of vulnerability management, identity and access, and general IT operations

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams

Curiosity, problem‑solving skills, and a desire to keep learning
