Job Title: SAP Cybersecurity Analyst.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA / Austin, Texas.

Duration:Long Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Basis Management:
• Administer and maintain SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Perform regular system updates and patch management.

SAP System Hardening:
• Implement security measures and protocols to protect SAP systems from vulnerabilities and threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments.

SAP Security Notes:
• Review and apply SAP Security Notes to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
• Keep up to date with the latest security patches and advisories.

SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM):
• Manage and secure SAP applications throughout their lifecycle in the cloud environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

SAP Solution Manager – System Recommendations:
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager to monitor and recommend system improvements and security enhancements.
• Implement recommended changes to maintain system integrity and performance.

Scripting and Automation:
• Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance system security.
• Utilize Python for advanced automation and security monitoring.

Cybersecurity Analysis for SLM:
• Analyse cybersecurity and system hardening requirements for SAP system landscape modernization (SLM).
• Support the SLM initiative from a cybersecurity perspective, including code security coverage for both vendor code (SAP Security Notes) and Apple custom code.

Nice to Have Skills:

Information Management & Security:
• Knowledge of best practices in information security management.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

Application Security Testing:
• Conduct security testing for SAP applications to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with tools and techniques for application security assessment.

SAP Code Vulnerability Analyzer (CVA):
• Use SAP CVA to identify and address code-level security issues.
• Collaborate with developers to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system hardening and security best practices.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and Python.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM) and SAP Solution Manager.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
