Job Overview:
• The Sr. Cloud Security Architect will act as a cloud security subject matter expert, responsible for designing, reviewing, and improving secure cloud architectures across enterprise environments.
• The role focuses on reducing cloud security risks, guiding secure design decisions, and enabling product teams to implement secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions.
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, design, and implementation required.
• Experience performing security architectural reviews and identifying risks in cloud environments required.
• Experience evaluating technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams for security issues required.
• Experience designing and implementing secure systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure required.
• Experience with IAM policies, least privilege design, and cloud security controls required.
• Experience with cloud networking, IP routing, VPNs, and hybrid environments required.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, or Golang required.
• Experience with containerized and serverless environments preferred.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and cloud-native security platforms preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a cloud security subject matter expert for the Information Security team.
• Identify and drive opportunities to reduce cloud security risk across systems and platforms.
• Create and maintain design artifacts, architecture diagrams, and security documentation.
• Partner with product teams to design secure network and serverless architectures.
• Provide IAM policy guidance to ensure least privilege access across environments.
• Review cloud architectures and identify security issues prior to deployment.
• Evaluate cloud security vendor solutions and participate in proof-of-value assessments.
• Collaborate with cloud providers to improve security capabilities and integrations.
• Monitor cloud security costs and assess impact of security controls.
• Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to team development.
• Maintain documentation for cloud security designs, standards, and processes.
• Stay current with emerging cloud threats and mitigation strategies.
Should Have:
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure security and hybrid environments.
• Ability to identify and mitigate security risks in complex architectures.
• Strong understanding of compliance and enterprise security standards.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and rapidly changing requirements.

• Cloud Security Architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Ansible).
• Docker and Kubernetes security.
• Serverless security design.
• AWS Security tools (GuardDuty, WAF).

• Elastic Stack and security monitoring tools.
• Scripting: Python, Node.js, Golang, Bash, PowerShell.
Qualification And Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field required.
