As part of Apple’s Global Security Team, you’ll be the first level of supervision and escalation for a team of GSOC Control Room Operators that handle the security needs of Apple’s most valuable assets: our people, properties and innovations! Apple’s Global Security Operations Center is looking for a leader that is team oriented, reliable, flexible, detailed, a great communicator, but also experience in security and access control system technology. The GSOC Security Lead will be on point of a shift within our call center that operates 24/7/365. The GSOC supports Apple, not only in the Santa Clara Valley, but globally.

Description
Support, mentor, and guide GSOC Operators in daily tasks, emergency response protocols, and standard operating procedures Provide direct operational oversight and leadership for GSOC shifts Manage and coordinate the response to critical incidents and security events globally, ensuring alignment with Apple’s risk mitigation strategies Ensure adequate shift coverage and manage operational workflows to alleviate the burden on the current shift Partner with cross-functional teams and regional security leadership to ensure seamless global operations and communication Maintain high standards of operational readiness, ensuring compliance with Global Security procedures and policies

Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ Years of experience within a Global Security Operations Center
• Flexibility to work different schedules and must be willing to work any shifts (24/7/365) that aligns with business needs and changes

Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications skills, with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytic skills
• Ability to hold self accountable, demonstrates integrity and initiative
• Display a strong work ethic and decision making in both routine and urgent situations
• Driven to excel at customer service
• Eagerness to tackle additional duties that arise or are assigned

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $41.06 and $62.16/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
